Currently serving as Head of Engineering at Blue Harvest since January 2023, Gelas has previously held significant roles including Senior Software Engineering Manager at Ypsomed AG and Owner of Gelas Consulting. With a strong background in R&D, Agile/DevOps coaching, and robotics, Gelas has also led teams in prominent organizations such as senseFly, Symbios Orthopédie SA, and Harvard Medical School. An accomplished developer and contributor to the Insight Segmentation and Registration Toolkit (ITK), Gelas's academic credentials include PhDs in Signal and Image Processing from Harvard University and in Computer Science from Keio University, complemented by multiple degrees from INSA Lyon.
