With more than 25 years of experience with both direct and channel partner sales experience in information technology, Mr. Deason has successfully led sales organizations in the telecommunications, healthcare, manufacturing and financial industries.
As the former Regional and Global Accounts Director at Sun Microsystem, Mr. Deason’s sales teams were at the forefront of new technological introductions. These included integrated document imaging systems and implementing Sun’s JAVA programming language into the telecommunications industry. Mr. Deason’s experience building strong cross-functional teams with outstanding customer relationship and consulting skills resulted in new service revenue, improved customer service, improved operational efficiency and reduced costs.
Mr. Deason’s strategy to build a successful organizations centers on a strong partner channel. Throughout his career, he has treated partners as customers and created environments that promote and deliver mutually beneficial success. The power of two organizations with mutually beneficial goals, open communication, collaborative sales and marketing plans is a force multiplier for both the partner and Blue Line Technology. Developing a strong and vibrant partner/channel eco-system will be Mr. Deason’s primary focus.
Mr. Deason has served on many corporate and regional level steering committee related to sales compensation, sales and engineering coverage models, succession planning, Corporate/Major account program development, channel sales strategies and vertical market planning. He has a passion for leadership development and has initiated programs for his team that delved into historical topics with a focus on the leadership challenges, actions and results.
