Ilankuzhali Elavarasan

Ilankuzhali Elavarasan is a research assistant at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), contributing to India's maiden Human Space Flight Programme at the Institute of Aerospace Medicine - Indian Air Force since January 2022. Additionally, Ilankuzhali serves as a visiting scholar at the Blue Marble Space Institute of Science and as a Space Hero Insider for Space Hero - Media. Ilankuzhali is a researcher at Habitat Marte, focusing on greenhouse design and sustainable technologies for Mars habitats. Previously, Ilankuzhali held the position of Chief Training Officer at Space Development Nexus, emphasizing space science course development and mentoring aspiring space leaders. Other roles include space educator at Helium Learning Labs, astrobiology author, and internships involving aluminium alloys and fatigue testing. Ilankuzhali holds a bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Hindustan University, completed in 2019.
