Tia Breakley

Tia Breakley is the Chief Strategic Development Officer and Chief Governance Officer at Blue Meridian Partners since March 2021, also serving as an External Independent Director on the Investment Advisory Committee of the New York Common Retirement Fund since March 2023. Prior to these roles, Tia held various positions at The Blackstone Group from September 2007 to March 2021, including Managing Director, Chief Administrative Officer, and General Counsel for Infrastructure. Tia also served as Managing Director and Deputy General Counsel at Blackstone Alternative Asset Management from January 2016 to July 2017. Earlier in Tia's career, counsel roles were held at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP after earning a JD from Columbia Law School between 1998 and 2001. Tia is an alumnus of the University of Virginia.
