Heather Anderson has a diverse work history that includes roles such as Director of Academic Affairs and Advising at George Mason University, where they oversaw advising policies and procedures. Heather also served as the Public Relations Manager at Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center-Human Resources and Director of Corrections Education at Blue Mountain Community College. In their most recent position at BMCC, they led the Right Growth retention and student success teams, focusing on supporting students and institutional needs during COVID.
Heather Anderson earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Architecture from Portland State University in 2000. Heather then went on to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Photography from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2004. Their education journey culminated with a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Photography from the University of Idaho in 2007.
