John Fields

VP, Instruction at Blue Mountain Community College

John Fields is the current Vice President of Instruction at Blue Mountain Community College. John has been in this position since May of 2018. Prior to that, they were the Dean of Humanities at Florida State College at Jacksonville from August 2007 to May 2018. Before that, they were a French teacher at Bishop Kenny High School from August 2003 to June 2007.

John Fields has a Master's Degree in French Language and Literature from the University of Florida, as well as a Juris Doctor in Law from Rutgers Law School. John also has a Bachelor's Degree in French Language and Literature from the University of Florida, as well as a degree in Français langue étrangère from Université Laval.

They are on a team with Daniel Anderson - Dean of Instruction, Arts & Sciences, Tammy Krawczyk - Dean, Corrections & College Prep/Hermiston Center Director, and Bruce Clemetsen - Interim VP, Student Affairs. John Fields reports to Connie Green, Interim President.
