Jeff Partridge is a chartered accountant and a Principal in the firm of Trumans. Since 1921, Trumans has been an advisor to hundreds of small to medium enterprises around Australia. Jeff has over 30 years of experience in advising and assisting small to medium enterprises, not-for-profit organizations and high net worth individuals across a wide range of industries. In 2007, Trumans opened their first office outside the Sydney metropolitan area in Lurline Street, Katoomba.
The business & NFP sectors play important roles in their local communities and so it is disturbing that the number of businesses operating in the Blue Mountains has declined by nearly 7% in the last five years. Jeff believes it is therefore vital that the businesses and organizations in the Blue Mountains have a strong and vocal Business Chamber to represent them and to help promote their activities to the rest of Australia and the world. It is vital that these sectors flourish in the Blue Mountains as they provide employment, opportunity and important services for residents and visitors.
Jeff’s experience through his public practice roles as auditor, business advisor and board member – and as the owner of a small business himself – means he has a deep understanding of the various challenges that face businesses and NFPs in Australia. He believes his broad experience is a valuable asset that can further assist the Chamber in its mission.
Jeff moved to the Blue Mountains from Sydney in 1999 and believes he will be in the Blue Mountains for the rest of his life. He is a registered tax agent, a registered company auditor and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
