Jessica Evans

Jessica Evans, CPA, has a diverse and extensive work experience in accounting and finance. Jessica currently serves as the Senior Director of Finance at Blue North Strategies, where they successfully implemented an ERP system, redesigned the budget process, and developed client and project profitability reports. Prior to this role, they held the position of Director of Finance at the same company.

Before joining Blue North Strategies, Jessica worked as a Controller at Easy Legal Finance Inc., where they reduced month-end close time and developed cash forecast reports. Jessica also served as an Accounting Manager at Rundle College Society and Venture Communications, where they implemented process improvements, improved reporting efficiency, and contributed to cash flow monitoring and budget development.

Earlier in their career, Jessica gained valuable experience as a Controller at Vovia, where they led the implementation of a new ERP system and managed the planning and forecasting function. Jessica also worked as an Accounting Manager at X-treme Energy Group and as a Jr. Financial Accountant at High Arctic Energy Services.

Jessica began their professional journey as an Accounting Technician at KPMG. Throughout their career, they have consistently demonstrated their expertise in financial management, process improvement, and data analysis.

Jessica Evans, CPA, has a Bachelor of Applied Business Administration degree in Accounting from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and an Accounting Technician Diploma in Accounting and Finance from Thompson Rivers University. Jessica also holds a CPA Designation from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
