GAL DISHON, PhD

Gal Dishon, PhD has a diverse work experience in the fields of strategic R&D, postdoctoral research, co-founding a company, and serving as a scientific director. In 2011, Gal Dishon started working at The Ecological Greenhouse as the Scientific Director, a role they held until 2019. Following that, they joined Scripps Institution of Oceanography as a Postdoctoral Researcher in June 2019, where they stayed until July 2022. In January 2022, Gal Dishon co-founded PlanTure, a company that applies CRISPR and advanced bioinformatics for rapid plant breeding. Currently, Gal Dishon is working at Blue Ocean Barns in a strategic R&D role, starting from July 2022. This diverse work experience showcases Gal Dishon's expertise and versatility in various scientific fields.

GAL DISHON, PhD completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Marine Sciences from the University of Haifa from 2011 to 2018. Prior to that, he/she obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Marine Sciences from Bar-Ilan University between 2007 and 2009. In 2004 to 2007, GAL DISHON, PhD pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marine Sciences from Ruppin Academic Center.
