Laust Thomsen

Vice President Customer Service at Blue Ocean Robotics

Laust Thomsen has extensive work experience in the robotics industry. Laust is currently working at Blue Ocean Robotics as the Vice President of Customer Service. Prior to that, Laust worked at GoBe Robots as a Product Owner and later as the Vice President of Customer Success & Product. Laust also co-founded Concied and worked there as a co-founder for five years. In addition, Laust had multiple roles at Blue Ocean Robotics, including Technology Success Manager at Globe Robots and Masters Candidate. Laust also had internships and positions as a Customer Support Manager, Product Development Engineer, and Programmer Assistant within the company. Before entering the robotics industry, Laust worked at Prodea I/S as a Business Owner and at Tuco Marine ApS as a Bachelor Thesis Student.

Laust Thomsen began their education journey in 2009 at Grønsund Idrætsefterskole. From 2010 to 2012, they attended SHAPE American High School where they earned their High School Diploma. In 2012, they enrolled at DTU - Technical University of Denmark for the "Adgangskursus til Ingeniøruddannelserne" program, which they completed in 2013. From 2013 to 2016, Laust studied at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark and earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Engineering with a specialization in Product Development and Innovation. In 2015, they participated in a study abroad program at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) for one semester, working towards a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree. Finally, from 2016 to 2018, Laust Thomsen continued their education at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Engineering, specializing in Product Development and Innovation.
