Zoltan Nagy

Zoltan Nagy has a diverse range of work experience that spans over a decade. Zoltan has worked as a Mechatronic Engineer at Blue Ocean Seismic Services Limited since 2020. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at MTS Systems Corporation, where they were responsible for various automotive test systems and customer software.

Before MTS Systems Corporation, Zoltan served as a Senior Electronics Software Engineer at Dyson from 2014 to 2015, where they worked on real-time embedded software projects, particularly on vacuum cleaners and blade-less fans.

From 2011 to 2013, Zoltan worked as a Systems Engineer - Lead Consultant at Delphi, and from 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Lead Consultant at Altran Technologies. During their time at Delphi and Altran Technologies, they contributed to the development of Start/Stop (Micro-Hybrid) functionality for Ford engines and worked on electrical integration testing of Ford Transit Vans.

In 2010, Zoltan worked as a Lead Consultant at Altran Technologies, specifically at Ford Technology Centre, where they designed, developed, and implemented a full-size HIL Simulator for electrical integration testing.

Prior to joining Altran Technologies, Zoltan worked as a Control Systems Engineer at McLaren Electronic Systems from 2007 to 2009, where they worked on the Single Engine Control Unit for F1 racing cars. Zoltan'sresponsibilities included communicating with F1 teams, handling reported issues and testing them on HIL systems.

From 2005 to 2007, Zoltan worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Renishaw, where they focused on system architecture design, modelling, and validation. Zoltan also contributed to the synchronisation of controllers to lasers and troubleshooting customer applications.

Before Renishaw, Zoltan worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at GEL Engineering Ltd from 2004 to 2005. Zoltan'sresponsibilities included designing and developing real-time control systems for automated test equipment and participating in project planning and pricing.

Zoltan's career began as a Research Associate at Lancaster University from 2001 to 2004, where they participated in the software integration project called 'MEchatronics COmpiler for MAchine Tools - MECOMAT'. Zoltan contributed to the design of the overall software structure and developed control algorithms for machine tool designers.
