Guilherme Milan

Guilherme Milan has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Guilherme currently works at Blue Orange Digital as an Engineering Manager, a role they started in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Engineer at the same company from June 2022 to January 2023.

Before joining Blue Orange Digital, Guilherme worked at Curso Ínphase as a Data Team Manager from January 2021 to June 2022. In this role, they developed statistical models for sales forecasting, conducted data visualizations, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis using R and Python. Guilherme also worked on the development of supervised machine learning models and automated provisioning and orchestration of AWS cloud infrastructure.

Guilherme gained experience as a Volunteer Educator at Universidade de São Paulo from January 2019 to January 2020, where they taught robotics to adults and students, covering robot building and programming with various kits.

Guilherme also had a Summer Internship at Instituto de Pesquisas Eldorado in early 2019. In this role, they gained practical experience in their field of interest.

From 2015 to 2017, Guilherme worked at Warthog Robotics as an Electronic Technician. Guilherme was responsible for developing electronic circuits for autonomous mobile robots, including power supplies, motor controllers, and sensor circuits.

As a Volunteer at AIESEC in Malaysia from December 2015 to February 2016, Guilherme participated in an educational program aimed at raising awareness of environmental issues among young audiences in schools.

In their early career, Guilherme worked at Dextra Digital as a Software Developer and Intern. At Dextra Digital, they developed web applications using JavaEE suite and Python frameworks, as well as frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Guilherme Milan completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, starting in 2017 and graduating in 2020. Prior to that, they attended Colégio Técnico de Campinas - Unicamp from 2009 to 2010, where they studied Computer Programming.
