Jacob Reedy is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in modeling and simulation, particularly in lunar lander technology and space exploration. Currently serving as a Manager for MK1 GNC Algorithms & Analysis and Lunar Permanence Modeling & Simulation at Blue Origin since January 2022, Jacob Reedy supports integrated modeling efforts in the Lunar Transportation department. Prior to this role, experience includes working as a Research and Development Engineer at Adaptive Aerospace Group, Inc., where Jacob Reedy contributed to the NASA Commercial Crew program by simulating the entry, descent, and landing phases of key space capsules. Additional background includes a Research Assistant position at NCSU Space Systems Laboratory, where Jacob Reedy developed prototypes for Mars exploration and conducted experiments in satellite dynamics. Jacob Reedy holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from North Carolina State University.
