Laura Maginnis

Laura Maginnis is an accomplished aerospace executive with extensive experience in mission management and launch operations. Currently serving as Vice President of New Glenn Mission Management at Blue Origin since January 2020, Laura oversees mission integration and launch of payloads for both commercial and government initiatives. In addition to this role, Laura is an Adjunct Professor at Colorado School of Mines and Loyola Marymount University, where course content focuses on launch vehicle systems and space operations. As the owner of Maginnis Consulting since June 2018, Laura provides customer-centric aerospace solutions. Previous roles include Vice President of Government Satellite Launch at United Launch Alliance, where mission success was achieved for key government contracts, and Flight Operations Engineer at Boeing. A former Launch Operations Engineer in the United States Air Force, Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell Engineering and a Master of Science in Space Systems from the Florida Institute of Technology.
