Melissa Dominguez

Melissa Dominguez currently serves as the Sr. Avionics Systems Lead for Architecture Lunar Transport at Blue Origin, focusing on avionics architecture for lunar transportation since June 2022. Prior to this role, Melissa spent over a decade at Aurora Flight Sciences, progressing from an Electrical Engineer to Chief Engineer within the Electronic Systems Division, where responsibilities included leading avionics and systems engineering for various projects such as air-launched effects and eVTOL aircraft. Earlier experience includes roles at Piper Aircraft, where Melissa concentrated on electrical system design and compliance with aviation regulations, and a student assistant position in Housing & Residence Life. Melissa holds a Master of Science in Space Systems from Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
