Stephanie Gavell

Stephanie Gavell is a Cryogenic Pump Engineer at Blue Origin since September 2024. Prior to this role, Stephanie held multiple engineering positions at Ursa Major from May 2020 to September 2024, including Senior Turbomachinery Engineer, Turbomachinery Design Engineer, and Propulsion Design Engineer, after beginning as a Propulsion Design Intern in June 2019. Early experience includes internships at Boeing as a Structural Analysis Intern and at Raytheon in Integrated Defense Systems. Stephanie participated as a Research Affiliate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in June 2015. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University, along with a prior undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and a high school diploma from Milton Academy.
