Tashi McSweeney

Tashi McSweeney is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in thermal analysis and design. Currently serving as a Turbomachinery Thermal Analyst III at Blue Origin, Tashi specializes in thermal analysis for lunar vehicle turbomachinery. Prior experience includes a comprehensive role as Thermal Integration Lead at Pratt & Whitney, managing thermal analysis for the NGPF engine line and overseeing multiple engine platforms. Tashi's expertise also encompasses military development engines as a Senior Thermal Engineer and structural design for high-performance engine components. Educational credentials include a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and dual Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and German Language and Literature from the University of Connecticut, complemented by an Associate's degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology from CT State Three Rivers. Notable achievements include winning first place in the UConn Senior Design competition.
