Robert L.'s work experience includes various roles in the finance industry. Robert is currently the Vice President of the Liquid Credit Investment Team at Blue Owl Capital, where they specialize in collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) and direct lending. Prior to this role, they worked at Divvy Homes, a fintech company focused on real estate lending, where they developed and automated infrastructure related to warehouse lending.

Before Divvy Homes, Robert worked at Nuveen, a TIAA company, as part of the Surveillance & Operations team. Robert conducted asset allocation, surveillance, and fund strategy for loan funds. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Ares Management Corporation, Deutsche Bank Securities, NUKAPITAL, and Mizuho - Mountain Capital Advisors.

At Ares Management, they conducted financial modeling and surveillance for loan funds and monitored middle market lending activities. Robert also worked on American Capital's BSL CLO issuance/investing platform and conducted analysis and monitoring of CLO funds and warehouse facilities. At Deutsche Bank Securities, they worked in securitized trading, specifically in the CMBS secondary market. At NUKAPITAL, they were an analyst, and at Mizuho - Mountain Capital Advisors, they focused on CLO structuring, compliance, operations, and credit derivatives trading.

Robert L. has an MBA in Finance from Fordham Gabelli School of Business and a BS in Finance and Economics from NYU Stern School of Business. Robert also attended the University of California, Berkeley and Scranton Preparatory School, where they obtained a High School Diploma.
