Mitchell Kauppi

Mitchell Kauppi is a Research Associate in Microbiology Quality Control at Bio-Techne since April 2023, focusing on Bioburden and sterility testing while also contributing to method development and SOP enhancements. Prior experience includes serving as a Server at Blue Plate Restaurant Company since October 2016, where training and operational support were provided. Mitchell has also held roles at Bio-Techne as a Laboratory Assistant, supporting large-scale cell culture, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota, engaging in synthetic biology research. In the restaurant industry, extensive training of over 50 employees was conducted at Barrio from 2011 to 2018. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Minnesota and an Associate of Science in Biotechnology from Minneapolis College.
