Stephen Arata

Stephen Arata has a strong and extensive work experience in the energy sector. Stephen is currently the President & CEO of Blue Racer Midstream since November 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of CEO at Caiman Energy II, LLC from April 2015 to November 2021, and also served as EVP & CFO from October 2010 to April 2015. From 2005 to 2010, they worked as EVP & CFO at Regency Energy Partners LP. Before entering the energy industry, they worked at UBS Investment Bank as an Executive Director specialized in the electric and gas utility sector, specifically in mergers & acquisitions, from September 1996 to June 2005. Stephen started their career at Deloitte Consulting as a Senior Manager from June 1992 to September 1996, and prior to that, they worked as a Financial Analyst at CS First Boston from July 1988 to July 1991.

Stephen Arata attended Southern Methodist University from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English. Stephen then pursued further education at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 1991 to 1992 and received a Master of Management (MM) degree with a specialization in Business.
