Greg Bishop

Greg Bishop is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as VP of IT at Blue Ridge ESOP Associates since 2022, Greg has previously held the position of Director of Systems Engineering at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield from 2016 to 2022. Additional roles include Director of Performance Engineering at Scality, Principal Engineer at Time Warner Cable, and Technical Advisor at AOL, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing significant strategic initiatives and managing large-scale system architectures. Earlier in career, Greg was the Director of Computational Chemistry at Rutgers University, focusing on the management of departmental computer infrastructure. Academically, Greg possesses a Ph.D. in Physics from Florida State University and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Virginia.
