Jon Weisz

Jon Weisz has a strong background in robotics software engineering and management with experience across multiple companies. Jon began their career in 2013 as an intern at Willow Garage and moved on to READY Robotics in 2016, where they served as a Senior Roboticist before becoming Vice President of R&D. In 2018, they joined X, the moonshot factory as a Senior Software Engineer, a role they held until 2021. From 2021 until 2023, they worked at Everyday Robots as a Robotics Software Engineer and Manager. Then, they became a Senior Manager Robotics Software at Blue River Technology in 2023.

Jon Weisz earned a PhD in Computer Science and Robotics from Columbia University from 2009-2015. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California from 2007-2009. Weisz also attended The Johns Hopkins University from 2002-2006, but their degree and field of study are unknown.
