Chenrong Shi

Chenrong Shi is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in digital transformation and application integration. Currently serving as the Director of Digital Transformation and Head of Application Integration at Blue Shield of California since March 2014, Chenrong has successfully partnered with business leaders to define technology roadmaps that align with operational needs. Prior to this role, Chenrong held various leadership positions at Applied Materials Inc. from September 1997 to December 2014, including Director of ERP, BI and Application Integration, where responsibilities encompassed directing large-scale ERP and application integration programs. Chenrong’s earlier career includes a position as a Software Engineer at Advanced Micro Devices, focusing on supply planning applications and intranet web solutions. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
