Chitra Laxmanan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management, strategy, and business development across various industries, including life sciences, healthcare, and consumer goods. Currently serving as Senior Director of Product Management and Strategy at Blue Shield of California since August 2017, Chitra has also held roles such as Chief of Staff and has demonstrated expertise in driving consumer-led innovation processes and strategic execution of long-term plans. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Strategy, Innovation & Business Development at CVS Health, where Chitra built frameworks for category strategies and was responsible for aligning strategies with senior executives. Chitra’s background includes significant roles at L.E.K. Consulting, Microsoft, and Procter & Gamble, leading cross-functional teams and managing successful product launches. Chitra holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
