Samantha Huynh

Samantha Huynh has had several roles in the pharmaceutical field. Samantha started their career as a PGY1 Managed Care Pharmacy Resident at Aetna, a CVS Health Company, from June 2017 to June 2018. Following that, they worked as a Clinical Pharmacist at EnvisionRxOptions from September 2018 to July 2019. Currently, Samantha is employed at Blue Shield of California, where they have held two roles. Their first role was as a Clinical Pharmacist from July 2019 to September 2023, and they are now serving as the Principal Pharmacist for Medication Policy, starting in October 2023.

Samantha Huynh's education history begins in 2008 when they enrolled at the University of California, Davis. Samantha completed their undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences with a focus on Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior in 2012. Following this, they pursued further education and attended the California Northstate University College of Pharmacy from 2013 to 2017. Here, they earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
