Project Scientist at Blue Skies Space

Billy Edwards has a diverse work experience starting from 2009. Billy began their career as a Kitchen Staff at The White Horse Inn and also gained work experience at WSP Global. In 2010, during their time as a student at Hartismere High School, Billy ran revision sessions for top-set GCSE Mathematics students. In 2013, they worked as a Cleaner and Laundry Assistant at ACF Cleaning Ltd. From 2005 to 2017, Billy volunteered as a Historical Re-enactor at Kentwell Hall, where they taught school children and the general public about the country's history. In 2019, they joined Blue Skies Space as a Project Scientist for the Twinkle Space Mission. In the same year, they also became a Research Fellow at UCL. Billy'smost recent position is as a Research Fellow at CEA, which they started in 2021. Throughout their work experience, Billy has gained skills such as communication, organization, planning, and teaching.

Billy Edwards completed their Bachelor of Science in Physics at the University of Bath from 2012 to 2016. Billy then pursued further studies at UCL, where they obtained a Master's degree in Space Science & Engineering in 2017. Billy continued their education at UCL and successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Astrophysics from 2017 to 2019.
