Shannon Lindgren, CMP

Shannon Lindgren, CMP has a wealth of experience in event services and meeting planning. Shannon began their career in 2004 as an intern at Bishop McCann, followed by internships at Fleishman-Hillard and Advanstar Communications. In 2005, they joined Meeting Resources, Inc. as a Program Administrator. From 2006-2007, they served as Meetings Coordinator for the American Optometric Association. In 2011, they were hired as a Meeting Planner at Forest Laboratories (now Allergan), where they established and managed a successful planning process for the R&D side of the business. In 2015, they joined Allergan as a Sr. Manager, Meeting Planning and Wellington as a Sr. Account Manager. In 2020, they joined AbbVie as a Sr. Manager, Meeting Planning and Blue Sky eLearn as Director, Event Services, Life Sciences, Manager, Event Services, Life Sciences & Agency, and Sr. Virtual Event Manager, Life Sciences.

Shannon Lindgren, CMP obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Northwest Missouri State University in 2005. In 2013, they obtained the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council.
