Blue Star Families
Maggie Meza serves as the San Diego Chapter Director for Blue Star Families since April 2019 and has extensive experience in various leadership and advisory roles within military support organizations. Prior roles include President of the Military Spouse Association of Camp Pendleton from June 2017 to May 2019, Advisor for the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society during the same period, and Special Advisor for the Exceptional Family Member Program at Marine Corps Community Services from June 2016 to May 2019. Additionally, Maggie has volunteered at the Leadership Education Seminar Camp Pendleton since October 2016 and facilitated courses at Marine Corps University from January 2015 to May 2019. Educational background includes studies at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
Blue Star Families
Blue Star Families (BSF) is a national, nonprofit network by and for military families from all ranks and services, including active duty, National Guard and reserves. Blue Star Families strengthens military families and connects America to the military through a robust array of morale, empowerment, education and employment programs. Founded by military spouses in 2009, the organization has engaged tens of thousands of volunteers and served more than 1.5 million military family members annually, including wounded and transitioning service members and their loved ones.
