Rodrigo Mezerhane has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2008 as a Fiberglass Trainee for Dynamite Boat Services. In 2010, they worked as an Industrial Designer for Industrias Termoplex C.A. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Furniture Designer for an independent client, where they designed and manufactured custom furniture and cigar humidifier rooms. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Biodiesel Process Trainee for Green Gallon Solutions, where they assisted in troubleshooting and problem-solving for the existing facility. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as an Industrial Designer (Intern) for Opalinski Design House Inc. Finally, since 2018, they have been a Project Manager for Biodiesel Las Americas, where they upgraded the biodiesel facility to increase production from 2.5MM gallons to 10MM gallons/year, and incorporated a distillation unit to refine glycerin from 80% to 97%. In 2021, they began working as a Sr. Project Manager - RAS Division for Blue Star Foods.
Rodrigo Mezerhane obtained a Certificate from the Freshwater Institute in 2022 in the field of Recirculating Aquaculture Systems. In 2019, they earned a Project Management Certificate from the University of Miami. From 2013 to 2015, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Industrial and Product Design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. From 2006 to 2010, they earned an Industrial Designer degree from the Instituto de Diseño Caracas in Industrial and Product Design. From 2003 to 2006, they obtained transfer credits in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad Metropolitana (VE).
