Alexis Monroy Leone has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and quality assurance.
From 2013 to 2014, Alexis worked as a Software Tester at GeneXus Consulting, where they were responsible for designing, planning, and executing test cases in various projects. They also modified and implemented a tool for automated application deployment.
In 2013, Alexis also worked as a Web Programmer at Soluciones Linux, where they programmed dynamic PHP websites connected to MySQL databases. They also implemented sites based on Pyro CMS and developed custom modules for Pyro CMS.
From 2014 to 2019, Alexis joined Centro de Ensayos de Software as a QA Engineer and later as a Consultant. In these roles, they were involved in planning, designing, and executing testing activities for web applications, mobile (Android and iOS), and APIs (SOAP and REST). They also served as a QA Leader.
In 2019, Alexis worked at Evertec as a Team Leader, where they implemented an ISO8583 testing framework and developed a GUI application for manual testing. They also automated functional tests for a new client.
Since 2020, Alexis has been working at Blue Trail Software. Initially, they worked as a Senior QA Automation Engineer, focusing on designing regression tests, maintaining automation frameworks, and improving user experience. Then, they became a QA Group Lead, leading and mentoring a team of QA professionals and driving effective testing strategies. Currently, Alexis serves as a Senior SDET & Team Lead, leading the SDET support team and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software through framework development and release management.
Throughout their career, Alexis has demonstrated expertise in automation, regression testing, API testing, and mentorship.
Alexis Monroy Leone completed their education in a chronological order. Alexis started their education at Universidad ORT Uruguay in 2009, where they obtained a degree in Técnico en Mantenimiento y Reparación PC. From 2000 to 2009, they attended the London Institute and earned a degree in Cambridge FCE, specializing in the English language. Subsequently, they enrolled in Universidad de la República in 2010 and graduated with a degree in Analista en Computación. In the same year, Alexis pursued further education at Universidad de la República, this time in the field of Ingeniería en Computación.
Additionally, Alexis received certifications in Testing de Usabilidad from Centro de Ensayos de Software in 2015, and became an Analista GX X Ev2 through Artech in June 2013.
