Shawn Townsend

Shawn Townsend is the CIO and Executive Board Member at Stellar National Life Insurance Company. Prior to this, Shawn has years of experience in the real estate and finance industry, holding positions such as Managing Principal and Head of Real Estate Credit Strategies at Blue Vista Capital Management, LLC, and Senior Vice President and Head of Origination at Freedom Mortgage's Commercial Real Estate Division. With a background in finance, Shawn also served as the Head of Capital Markets at Gramercy Capital Corp from 2004 to 2009. Shawn graduated with a BS in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business.
