John Boncher is a Strategic Advisor for Blue Wolf Capital Partners LLC. The Blue Wolf Capital Funds are a family of private equity funds focused on transformational investments in middle market companies.

John Boncher joins Blue Wolf with nearly three decades of experience in driving strategic growth and profitability at Cupertino Electric (CEI), one of North America’s largest electrical engineering and construction firms. As president and CEO of CEI, John helped to capitalize on the company’s core strengths, positioning CEI to dominate in major commercial, solar, data center and utility markets, while expanding its geographic reach. Under his leadership, the company gained a competitive advantage by employing cutting edge technological innovation on job sites while still prioritizing high-quality service and corporate integrity.

John currently serves on the Board of Directors of Blue Wolf portfolio companies The State Group and Kirlin Design Build. In 2012, John was selected as an Entrepreneur of the Year finalist by Ernst & Young. Prior to working at CEI, John began his career at Bank of America as a commercial banking officer. He received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of California at Irvine.
