Torben Mørch Sørensen

Torben Mørch Sørensen has a diverse work experience. Torben Mørch began their career in 2004 as a Menig/Private in Den Kongelige Livgarde. In 2005, they worked as a Kitchen Employee in Norway at Holmenkollen Park Hotel Rica. From 2006 to 2014, they worked at Coop i Danmark, starting as a Sales Trainee, then as a Middle Manager, and finally as Department Manager. In 2014, they did a Bachelor project at Alfa Laval Aalborg in the aftersales and spare parts area, focusing on Lean Six Sigma process improvement. In 2013, they did a Technical Internship in Zambia as a volunteer for the Danish organization Eventure, working on fresh water supply systems powered by solar. Since 2015, Torben has been employed at Alfa Laval Aalborg in various roles, including Innovation and Application Manager, Boiler Technology & Marine Energy Solutions, Area Sales Manager, Marine Boiler Systems, New build, and Sales Engineer, Marine Boiler Systems, New build. In 2023, they began working as Marine Sales Director at Blue World Technologies.

Torben Mørch Sørensen's education history includes completing a HHX degree from Lemvig Handelsskole between 2000 and 2004, a Practical Management degree from Viden Djurs in 2010, an Energytechnology degree from University College of Northern Denmark between 2011 and 2013, and a Product Development and Integrative Technology degree from University College of Northern Denmark between 2013 and 2014. Torben Mørch also holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Alfa Laval obtained in October 2016 and Innovation Management from Teknologisk Institut obtained in August 2020.
