Octavio Mercado

Octavio Mercado is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software installation and release processes. Currently serving as a Sr. Release Engineer at Bluebeam, Inc. since January 2014, Octavio is responsible for the complete software installation, build, and release process. Prior to this, Octavio held the position of Sr. Software Installation Engineer at Novatel Wireless from May 2007 to January 2013, where effective design and implementation of installation packages using InstallShield technologies were key contributions. Octavio's career began at Unisys as a Software Engineer from June 1999 to February 2007, focusing on the development and enhancement of installation packages for Windows and Linux as a Technical Lead. Academic qualifications include a BS in Computer Science from California State University-San Bernardino, completed in 1998.
