Amy Whicher

Amy Whicher is a seasoned tax and treasury professional currently serving as Senior Director at bluebird bio since August 2024, after previously holding the positions of Tax Director and Associate Director - Tax at the same company. Whicher started their career at PwC, progressing through various roles from Associate to Tax Director over an eight-year span. Subsequent experience includes serving as Senior Manager at EnerNOC, where foundational tax processes were established, and as Senior Manager at KPMG. A sabbatical from October 2015 to December 2016 involved extensive travel across multiple countries. Amy Whicher holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin, earned between 1999 and 2004.
