Maria Alphonsa Babu

Maria Alphonsa Babu has a diverse work experience in the field of analytical science and microbiology. Maria Alphonsa started their career at Defense Food Research Laboratory (DFRL) as a Project Research Associate, conducting research in food preservation, safety, and packaging. Maria Alphonsa then worked as a Student Research Assistant at Amrita Center of Nanoscience, where they focused on nanoparticle synthesis and microbial studies.

In 2016, Maria joined Bluebonnet Nutrition as a Microbiologist, responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials and monitoring the microbiological quality of the environment. Maria Alphonsa later transitioned to the role of Analytical Scientist, where they performed routine testing of materials using analytical techniques such as ICP-OES and HPLC.

Maria Alphonsa Babu earned a Master's degree in Nanotechnology from Amrita University, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology and Processing from Karunya University, where they attended from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Maria also obtained a certification in Data Management for Clinical Research from Coursera Course Certificates in February 2017.
