Qualifications ·       University degree in Accounting ·       Minimum 2 years of experience working in an Accounting role ·       Excellent communication skills ·       Certified Public Accountant or similar designation ·       Strong ability to manage & prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines ·       Excellent excel skills and ability to learn new systems (experience with NetSuite and/or systems integration is an asset)   Responsibilities ·       Complete journal entries for the monthly close ·       Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes ·       Validates and/or prepares monthly account reconciliations to ensure an accurate balance sheet ·       Reviews financial data for accuracy; identifies problems and support day-to-day operations. ·       Assist in ad-hoc reporting and projects ·       Assists with annual external audits and tax filings ·       Assist in identifying areas for process improvements including process automation and participate the in the implementation of those improvements
