Alexander Stewart

Alexander Stewart has several years of experience working in software engineering roles. Alexander most recently worked as a Software Engineer at Bluecrew starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at Meta Reality Labs from September 2021 to January 2023, where they worked on developing AR and VR platforms. Alexander also worked as a Software Engineer at Google from February 2019 to September 2021. Before their time at Google, Alexander worked as a Junior Software Engineer at Medstrat, Inc from September 2015 to January 2019, where they developed and supported medical image viewing software. Alexander also has experience as a Graduate Student at The University of British Columbia where they worked on biomedical research projects from September 2012 to April 2014. Additionally, Alexander has experience as a Cardiovascular Device R&D Specialist at Kardium Inc. and a Software Test Specialist at IBM Canada in 2011 and 2009 respectively.

Alexander Stewart completed their education with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of British Columbia from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in February 2018.
