Heidi Yernberg

Heidi Yernberg is a legal professional with extensive experience in privacy law and corporate governance. Currently serving as the Managing Director and Chief Privacy Officer at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee since May 2023, Yernberg previously held positions as Partner and Special Counsel at Jayaram Law from July 2019 to May 2023, and as an Affiliate Attorney at Coppersmith Brockelman PLC from September 2015 to June 2019. As the owner of Heidi Echols Law from 2009 until June 2019, Yernberg developed a strong foundation in legal practice following a notable tenure as Partner at McDermott Will & Emery and as an Associate at Bell, Boyd & Lloyd. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Spanish and Political Science from St. Olaf College, complemented by a Certificate in Mediation from the Center for Conflict Resolution in 2016.
