Michael Covington

Michael Covington is a seasoned professional in biostatistics with extensive experience at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee since November 2004, progressing through various roles from Associate Biostatistical Research Analyst to Bio-Statistical Research Senior Scientist. In these positions, Michael has consistently conducted research and developed processes that enhance health care outcomes, quality, access, cost, and utilization for BCBST members. Prior experience includes serving as Community Health Council Coordinator with the Tennessee Department of Health, where Michael analyzed health data and organized community health initiatives, and Housing Director at Res-Care, Inc., focusing on support for mentally and physically challenged clients. Michael holds a Master of Public Administration from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from East Tennessee State University.
