Simulation Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time position with some flexibility for. part-time to full-time hybrid role for a mission driven simulation engineer interested in making a difference. The Simulation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and conducting simulations, utilizing simulation software like OPENFoam and/or Ansys, applying analytical skills, and leveraging mechanical engineering principles. The role is based in Sausalito, CA, with the flexibility for some work from home.

Qualifications

Experience with FEA & FSI OPENFoam (required) and/or Ansys Simulation Software including designing, developing and conducting Simulations Strong Analytical Skills Background in Mechanical Engineering and Fluid Mechanics Ability to create and implement simulation models Ability to reconcile and improve simulations with controlled environment and real life environment prototype results Excellent problem-solving abilities Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Passionate about solving freshwater availability issues workdwide
