Cody Wells has extensive experience in creative strategy and brand development. Cody is currently the Creative Strategy Director at Bluedog Design, LLC, where they have been working since August 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Creative Strategist at the same company from May 2017 to August 2022.
Before joining Bluedog Design, Cody worked at Leo Burnett as a Senior Strategist from November 2016 to April 2017, and as a Strategist from January 2015 to November 2016. During their time at Leo Burnett, they worked on various projects for Allstate Insurance, including creative briefings, communications strategy development, and the creation of social media and content marketing strategies.
Cody also gained experience at HY Connect, where they served as a Strategy Manager from May 2014 to December 2014, and as an Associate Account Planner from December 2012 to May 2014.
Earlier in their career, Cody worked as an Account Executive at Draftfcb from February 2008 to November 2012. In this role, they collaborated with clients, consultancies, and creative teams to develop strategic and creative work for brands such as SC Johnson, KFC, and the Shelter Pet Project.
Cody's career began as a Research and Administrative Assistant at Wharton Business School from October 2004 to January 2008, and they also gained experience as a Brand Development Intern at Fitzgerald + Co. from June 2006 to August 2006.
Cody Wells attended The Wharton School from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a focus on Marketing & Communications.
