Evan Young

Evan Young is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as the Vice President of Supplier and Technology Development at BlueForge Alliance since February 2024. Previously held roles at BlueForge include Managing Director and Principal in Technology Integration & Investments. Evan's extensive experience in the aerospace sector includes leadership positions at Qarbon Aerospace as Head of Engineering R&D and MRB, and Triumph Group as Manager of Thermoplastics R&D, overseeing significant multi-million dollar projects. Earlier in the career, Evan contributed to Honda Aircraft Company as Program Manager, driving R&D initiatives, and at Bell Helicopter as an Engineer in Airframe Structures, recognized for improvements in engineering processes and mentorship. Evan's foundational experiences include military service as an Artillery Radar Team Leader in the United States Marine Corps, earning multiple commendations. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Engineering Mechanics from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
