Josh Walker

Josh Walker is a Senior Optical Engineer at BlueHalo since October 2021, previously gaining extensive experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Wyoming from May 2016 to August 2021. During this time, Josh also served as a SEO/Gear Up Tutor, providing tutoring in advanced mathematics, physics, and economics, and worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Calculus Based Physics. Additionally, Josh contributed to nanotechnology research as an Undergraduate Research Fellow. Previous roles include Guest Researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology and Graduate Intern at NASA, focusing on the development of a novel laser ranging system. Josh holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from the University of Wyoming, along with an Associate’s Degree in Mathematics from Laramie County Community College.
