Larry Lloyd

Larry Lloyd is the Vice President of Business Development for the BlueHalo Labs Sector at BlueHalo. He has specialized in the fields of space and directed energy for the vast majority of his career and brings the company unparalleled industry insight on product growth and marketing strategies. Larry has a track record of hands-on experience, having spent considerable lengths overseeing every stage of technological development, from initial R&D through its maturation and transformation into programs of record, and ultimately into action-readiness and commercial sales at the international level. Larry’s success in seeing his teams’ technological capabilities advance to the forefront of defense is the foundation upon which he continues to create relationships with key customers, prime contractors, and integrators in government and industry, among whom he’s built a reputation for exceeding their needs — and those of their stakeholders.

Larry came to BlueHalo from Applied Technology Associates (ATA) where he was Vice President for Business Development and helped usher its expansion of advanced technology solutions and engineering services for laser communications, acquisition, tracking, and pointing, laser weapons, small satellites, space situational awareness, and advanced radio frequency applications. Before joining ATA, he served as the Special Programs Manager and R&D Space and Unmanned Systems Business Development Manager at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS). He began his career at Nichols Research Corporation as a program manager and research scientist.
