Santanu Sanyal

Santanu Sanyal has a strong background in engineering and technology leadership. Santanu is currently serving as the Vice President Engineering and Site Head for BlueJeans India. In this role, they are responsible for leading the engineering team and overseeing operations in India.

Before joining BlueJeans Network, Santanu worked at Stayzilla as the Vice President of Technology. During their time there, they led a team of 40 engineers in a mid-stage start-up focused on an accommodation aggregation platform. Santanu restructured the team into POD structures, resulting in improved ownership and commitment.

Prior to Stayzilla, Santanu held multiple positions at Radisys, a company that acquired Continuous Computing. Santanu served as the Senior Director of Engineering, where they led a team of over 160 engineers and delivered profitable business solutions for telecom customers. Santanu also built the Technical Pre-Sales organization and seeded the Professional Services Practice within the company.

Before Radisys, Santanu worked at Intellinet Technologies, where they were a Technical Manager. Santanu played a key role in developing a telecom application development platform and opened their India office in Bangalore.

Santanu's career began at C-DOT, where they served as a Coordinating Engineer and contributed to the design and development of indigenous digital switching systems.

Throughout their career, Santanu has demonstrated strong leadership, technical expertise, and a track record of successfully delivering projects and driving business growth.

Santanu Sanyal attended St. Lawrence High School for an unknown period of time with an unspecified field of study. From 1991 to 1995, they pursued a Bachelor of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering degree at Jadavpur University. In 2007, they enrolled in the Executive General Management Program at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, completing it in 2008.
