Sujata Sharma

Sujata Sharma has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sujata worked at BlueJeans by Verizon from 2018 until the present, starting as a Software Engineer and progressing to the roles of Senior Software Engineer and Lead Software Engineer. In these roles, Sujata played a pivotal role in designing and building APIs and Backend Systems for a SaaS product using AWS and Python. Sujata was also the principal developer of an analytical tool that supported the quick addition and removal of diverse billing plans.

Prior to their time at BlueJeans by Verizon, Sujata worked at FICO from 2016 to 2017 as a Developer. There, they focused on creating orchestration and exposing web services using technologies such as Java, AltovaXMLSpy, and AltovaMapforce.

Sujata also gained experience as an Intern at Symantec Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in 2015, and at Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy in 2014. During their internship at Janaagraha, they developed an algorithm for computing the shortest route between bus stations and was involved in creating and managing India's largest repository of corruption cases.

Throughout their career, Sujata has demonstrated expertise in software engineering, backend development, and API design, utilizing technologies such as Python, AWS, Java, and various development frameworks.

Sujata Sharma's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Sujata also completed their high school education in Science at St. Pauls Higher Secondary School. In addition to their formal education, Sujata obtained a certification in "Designing RESTful APIs" from LinkedIn in July 2019.
