Chamal Rathnayake has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. In 2016, they started as a Private Client Admin Intern at AB, where they gained hands-on experience in administrative tasks. In 2017, Chamal joined the Harvard Club of New York as an IT Assistant, contributing to the club's IT operations for nearly four years. Recently, in 2021, they joined BlueNovo as a Help Desk Analyst, where they quickly progressed to the position of Help Desk Manager. This demonstrates their growth and expertise in providing technical support and managing IT help desk operations.

Chamal Rathnayake began their education in 2013 at Borough of Manhattan Community College, where they pursued an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management. Chamal completed their degree in 2015. In 2016, Chamal attended Year Up and obtained a Certificate of Completion in Financial Operations in 2017.

Chamal furthered their education at Baruch College from 2017 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Computer and Information Systems. Additionally, in 2017 and 2018, Chamal completed a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp.

In terms of certifications, Chamal obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate designation from Amazon Web Services in October 2020. Furthermore, in February 2022, they became a Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, and in May 2022, they obtained the MS-100: Microsoft 365 Identity and Services certification from Microsoft.
