Prabaljit Sarkar

Prabaljit Sarkar has a diverse work experience in the finance and infrastructure sectors. Prabaljit is currently serving as an Investment Director and Senior Vice President at BlueOrchard Finance Ltd, a leading impact investment manager. Prior to this, they worked at InfraCo Asia as the Director of Business Development, where they played a key role in the expansion and solidification of the company's Co-Development/Co-Investment program. Prabaljit also worked at Castlerock Consulting as a Business Development Advisor and Principal Consultant, providing advisory services in the power and renewables sector. Earlier in their career, they served as a Business Development Manager and Project Director at AES Corporation, a global power company, where they successfully negotiated and executed project agreements and financing deals for various power projects in Asia. Prabaljit started their career as a Management Consultant at PwC India, contributing to the implementation of power sector reforms in the state of Orissa.

Prabaljit Sarkar completed their undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, from 1981 to 1985. Afterward, they pursued an MBA in Finance from the University of Calcutta. In 2014, they obtained the certification of Elected Senior Member from The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES).
