Michael Hazzard

Michael Hazzard has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Michael worked as an Industrial Electrician at Superior Essex from 1995 to 2002. Michael then joined KCTCS and held the position of Associate Professor, teaching various courses and serving as a master advisor. In 2018, they became the Dean of Workforce Solutions at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College, responsible for supervising and administering Workforce Solutions functions. Michael also served as the Chief Community and Economic Development Officer and Professor at the same college, managing grants and overseeing faculty and staff. In 2023, they joined BlueOval SK, LLC as the Learning and Development Lead. Prior to that, they briefly worked as a self-employed retiree.

Michael Hazzard has a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Technology from Western Kentucky University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Michael also has an Associate in Applied Science degree in Electrical Technology from Elizabethtown Community and Technical College, which they obtained in 2010. In addition, they have obtained multiple certifications, including Talent Pipeline Management from the Kentucky Chamber Workforce Center in 2020 and Master Trainer from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in 2015. Michael is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Engineering & Technology Management from Morehead State University, which they started in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2022.
